Rules
1. The entry fee is $800 per 5-bird team, which $300.00 is the perch fee. The 5-bird team will consist of 3 primary and 2 backup birds. If all 5 go to the race there will be an additional fee of $200 per bird to activate the backups. Payment is due on arrival.
2. 15% of entry fee will be deducted for expenses.
3. Birds can also be entered into the Compton Live Bird Races. To enter as Live Birds use your own bands and place them in the Compton Live Bird Auction and buy them back. Then enter them in the Rancho Yanez Derby 400. You MUST buy them back and place them in the Derby Loft to be eligible to fly the Derby Race. Live Bird Auctions start February 1st, 2007 at the Compton Clubhouse at 6pm and then every Thursday there after until the first old bird race. Then auctions are held after the old bird races are knocked off each weekend. All prizes won in the Live Bird races will be split 50/50 Breeder/Handler.
4. All races released with Southern California Federation.
5. Birds will be accepted between January 1st to May 1st.
6. Must be at least 18 years old to enter.
7. All birds on the same drop will share equal position and prizes in the Derby Race only.
8. 15% of pooling will be deducted for expenses.
